Jingle Ball

The famed Jingle Ball was this weekend. This annual event is always a Who's Who of Austin movers and shakers. Our politicking friend Andy Brown is on "The Committee" so we got an invite. :) It was great to be a guest and not "the photographer". The Nash Hernandez Orchestra kept the crowd entertained. Notable guests included style avatar Stephen Moser, lobbyist extraordinair Lawrence Collins, Do512 founders Jimmy Stewart and Scott Owens, and MANY MANY others.

Samples...

As part of a quote I put together a sample of event photography. I liked it and wanted to share. :) I'm in the process of editing 3 portrait sittings, 1 film festival and 3-year old's birthday. More photos coming soon!!!

W

The W Hotel is coming to Austin. They had a big ground breaking event yesterday. Magic Johnson was in attendance. He almost ran into me while I was taking a photo of someone else, but was very nice about it and apologized. Will Wynn had a few things to say. It was interesting being the "official" W photographer. People kept asking which publication I was photographing for and the only thing I could think to say was all of them. :) I admit that on the way to the car someone stopped me and asked if I would take there photo I refused on the grounds that I was "out of film". It's true... sort of.

This amazing event was organized by local Austin event company Kennedy Creative . I'm looking forward to doing lots of work with them in the future! They made my job easy and fun.

Picnic - ing

Talk about a good time. This weekend I photographed the company picnic for a big local tech company. It was a great time. I much prefer company picnics to holiday parties. There are way fewer drunk people and more kids. :)

Big fun. Photographed this event for the Alamo. BTW Tim is ultra smart for making the downtown a foundation.

Factory People

Here are a couple of my photos from the party last night! It was great. I love working for factory people. Some day I'm going to make an awsome book of all of my favorite photos from their parties. I already have a yeras worth.
